Creating VPN connection on Mac OSX

create new connection with VPN as interface and PPTP as type, name id whatever you like it under Service Name

 

put your server address and account name

 

put your password under Authentication Settings option

 

and dont forget, enable "Send all traffic over VPN connection" if you like to send all traffic through this connection, otherwise you need to configure manual route under /etc/ppp/ip-up for your traffic to use this VPN connection
